You are responsible to pay for it so we can replace the book.

Check your book in! Every book that comes back into the library needs to be "checked IN" or our circulation system does not know you brought it back.

On the shelf where it belongs. Look at the call number for the clues that tell you where it belongs.
How are the books organized in the library?
By section, spine facing out, and in number order (nonfiction) or by the author's last name.
How do you know where a book belongs when you are putting it away?
By the call number on the spine of the book.
What does the top part of the call number tell us?
The section of the library it belongs.
EZN - easy nonfiction

PIC - picture book
FIC - fiction/chapter book
#'s - nonfiction on the back wall

From someone's imagination, not real, make believe

What is a biography?
A true book about someone's life. Found in nonfiction, #921...by the person's last name that the books is about

In the Non-Fiction Section, 811, on the back wall of the library.
