Explain in detail how a cloud is formed.
The sun heats the Earth's surface. The air above the Earth's surface becomes warmer than the air higher up. The warm air becomes less dense and begins to rise, bringing water vapor up with it. As the water vapor rises, it begins to cool. Eventually it reaches the DEW POINT. If there are tiny particles present at the dew point, the water vapor condenses onto the particles and changes to liquid water known as water droplets. (this process is known as condensation.) Millions of these droplets near each other create a cloud.
