An enormous and very hot spark of electricity produced by thunderstorms.

An intense storm with swirling winds up to 150 miles per hour. They are a lot larger than a tornado.

A severe snow storm with high winds. It creates snow drifts.

A layer of gases surrounding a planet. Divided into five layers.

General name for water in any form falling from clouds. This includes rain, hail, snow and sleet.

These are lightning strikes and faint flashes of light that are visible in distant clouds on warm and humid (wet air) nights.

A cloud on the ground that reduces visibility.

The amount of wetness in the air.
What is HUMIDITY?
This is caused by A LOT of rain or melting snow. When this happens, rivers rise and go over their banks.
