The particles spread out, becoming less dense, and rises. Hot air balloons use this principle to fly. The air in the balloon is heated up, becoming less dense than the air around it, and allowing the balloon to rise up into the air.

Severe weather could develop in your area.
What is windchill and how does it work?
Wind blows the warm air that surrounds your body away from you, making you feel colder.
Describe a cumulonimbus cloud.
Cumulonimbus clouds stretch from the lower atmosphere all the way to the upper atmosphere. They bring rain and severe weather like thunderstorms and tornadoes.

Why is Canada warmer in the summer, and colder in the winter?
In the summer, when the days are long, we get more energy from the sun, causing warmer temperatures. In the winter, when the days are short, we get less energy from the sun, resulting in cooler temperatures.

Differences in temperature and air pressure. Air blows from high air pressure areas to low air pressure areas.
What does a weather warning mean?
Severe weather is happening or is about to happen.
How does weather affect crops? (at least 3 things)
Much of the food we eat relies on the right amount of sunlight and rain to grow. A late or rainy spring can delay planting, which affects the amount and quality of the crops that will grow. An early frost or snowfall can destroy the crops before they are harvested. Flooding can cause seeds or plants to rot.
