Why must we drop "it"?
We have to drop our net, or burdens, so that they do not hinder our relationship and faith in God. We have to drop what burdens us and distracts or things that causes us to doubt, so that we can have the faith to witness God in our lives. We also drop our nets to let God be the one in control.
July 31st's Game/Activity
Walking over blocks with eyes closed, someone puts block under our feet, while balancing bags of water bottles. The game symbolizes the faith we need on the Christians Walk. The bags represented our baggage or the net (or burdens) we must drop in order to pursue our faith.
Without it...
We cannot believe in God. We won't have a relationship with God. We cannot witness God working our lives.

Explanation 250
Peter drops and leave his net behind to follow Jesus in Luke 5. After Peter witnessed Jesus bless him with a great catch of fish. By leaving his net behind, it symbolizes Peter leaving behind his worries and burdens in pursuit of his faith in Jesus.
Explanation 250
Living with trust and faith in God's plan, power, and desire for us, we should not fix our eyes on distractions and doubts. Everything that we do, say and believe in, are a reflection of who Jesus is to us. We do everything on to Jesus the good and the bad
