What is the most important rule in our classroom?
All of the rules are important so any rule given is the correct answer!
What are the different types of drills we will have?
We will have fire drills, lockdown drills and shelter in place drills. We may also have lockout drills.
What is the waffle?
The waffle is where you will find the different google apps like google docs.
Where can you find pencils?
Pencils are in a small silver bucket on the shelf near the snacks.
Are the rules the same in our classroom as they are in other classrooms?
The most important parts of the rules in our class are the same as those in other classrooms.
- Be respectful of yourself, the classroom and the other people in the classroom, including students and teachers.
What do we do in a lockdown drill.
In a lockdown drill, we turn off the lights, lock the door, sit against the wall under the smart board, stay quiet and wait for Mr. Parker to come on the loud speaker and tell us the drill is over.
How do you share a google doc?
To share a google doc, you press share and type the email address or name of the person with whom you want to share and then press send.
Where can you find paper?
Paper is on my desk. Ask for it when you need it.
What is the hardest rule to follow and why?
What do we do in a fire drill?
In a fire drill we line up quickly at the door, we walk quietly with a teacher down the stairs and out the door near the library, we line up at the brick wall near the road and we wait, being quiet and still, until an adult tells us the drill is over.
Once you have started a google doc, go to the "tools" tab", click on it, click on "voice typing" and when the microphone appears, click on it. When the microphone is red it is recording. Click on it again and it will stop recording.
Where can you find fidgets?
Fidgets are in a basket near the tissues. Remember, if you use a fidget as a toy, you will not be able to use it after that! Fidgets help you focus. Toys take your focus away from your schoolwork.
What is the easiest rule for you to follow? Why is it easy for you?
We are all different, so what is easy for you may not be for someone else. Be supportive of each other because you don't always know what others are feeling or why they are doing what they are.
What do you do in a lockdown drill if you are in the bathroom?
If you are in the bathroom when a lockdown drill begins, you go to the nearest classroom and follow the teacher's instructions in that room.
When using voice to text, how many times can you mess up a word before you need to try typing it instead.
If the computer can't understand you three times, then you need to try to type the word instead.
Where can you find our classroom bathroom pass?
This is a trick question because we don't have a bathroom pass. If you need to use the bathroom, raise your hand with your fingers crossed. When a teacher sees it, he or she will respond to you.
