The scientific study of the Earth's surface and its various climates, countries, peoples, and natural resources. The physical characteristics, especially the surface features, of an area.

Shows boundaries of countries, states, cities, and counties.

Directions between cardinal directions. NW, NE, SW, SE.

Complete in the first 5 min of class.

People, goods, and ideas move from one place to another.

Gives you all the information for the map to make sense. Often boxes in the corner of a map and give you symbols, colors, or icons to help you understand the map.

The main 3 rules of 6th grade.
