As climate change has progressed, how has the relationship between temperature, CO2, and sea level changed? What is one example of a thing that each of these changes has affected?

Sea level has risen -- ex: more flooding, decreased salinity of ocean, increased acidity of ocean, loss of habitat, smaller arctic ice extent, etc.

Average surface temperature has increased -- ex: more intense heatwaves, more wildfires, greater precipitation events, decreased biodiversity, more droughts, shorter and less intense winters

CO2 levels have risen -- extinction event loss of biodiversity, increased temperatures, etc.

During the 1936 Boston Marathon, defending champion Johnny Kelley passed leader Tarzan Brown at the Newton hills and gave him a pat on the back. But Brown made a great comeback to win the marathon. A reporter from The Boston Globe coined the phrase because Brown 'broke Kelley's heart'.
