How should we treat the area's we are using?
With respect, picking up after ourselves, NOT touching what is NOT ours
What is transition?
The time to clean up and get ready to change activities or classes.
How should it look during homework time?
Everybody should be sitting down in assign seats, quietly working, no talking unless working together in a group and Ms. J is okay with it.
Sign Ups
Sign up for the enrichment YOU want! Once you sign up you will NOT be able to change.
What should you do in a Emergency Drill?
No yelling and No running. Listen carefully to Ms. J directions and stay in a straight line.
What should you do if you have a question?
Raise your hand quietly and wait for Ms. J to come to you. PLEASE NO yelling Ms. J! Ms. J! Ms. J!
How should students be going to different locations?
1 straight line quietly walking. If we need to we will practice walking in a straight line during outside time.
NO HOMEWORK?
If you have no homework at all, you still need to read for 20mins. Ms. J will have books for you if you do not have one. Nobody should be going and walking around.
Accountability
You need to participate in the activity that tutors provide.
Bad Day?
If you are not having a good day or not feeling well, let Ms. J know that way she can be aware of how you are feeling. If Ms. J doesn't know she can't help
What are the Noise Levels?
0 No Talking
1 Whisper
2 Indoor Voices
3 Outdoor Voices
Going to another class?
No you can not go to another class.
Helping time
Ask the person next to you for help and if you still need help then raise your hand for Ms. J If Ms. J is helping you, you need to listen and not play around or she will not help you.
Going up to Ms. K?
Nobody should be going up to Ms. K unless you and I talked and I sent you or if Ms. K asked for you.
Why walk in 1 straight line?
Ms. J need to know she has all of you and that you are not messing around.
How should you treat others?
With respect, being nice ect
How should we act in the cafeteria?
Siting down at all times and quietly eating or working.
Done with homework?
If you finished your homework you will still need to read for 20mins. Once done you will be given an activity to complete.
How should you treat other tutors or students?
With respect and kindness. "Treat others the way you want to be treated"
Asking permission to go somewhere
You need to ask Ms. J for permission to go anywhere. This is because she needs to know where you are incase of an emergency.
Language?
Absolutely no bad words! If I hear it or someone else, its a write up.
Clean Up
Once you are done cleaning up your area you will wait at your seat to be excused to line up.
Coloring Pages?
I will not give any coloring pages unless it is an educational type of page.
Lines?
I only give out lines if you are constantly not listening or behaving. And yes its 100 lines.
How should we NOT react to a drill?
We do NOT mess around and laugh. We do NOT run around. We do NOT yell.
