We will spend the majority of the class learning to cook and creating things like cookies, muffins, pizza, etc. We will also go over sewing skills, social skills and other useful family life skills.

What Do We Do For A Fire Drill?
Exit the classroom thru the door in the laundry room. Walk in a single file line. Remain quiet and calm the entire time. Go outside the door and cross the parking lot to the grass. Stay together with our class near your teacher.

Yes, we will do cooking as well as sewing in this class.

You may borrow a pencil if you forget to bring one.
If your supplies are in your locker, go to your locker before the bell rings.
Should We Interrupt The Teacher?
NO!!! pencil sharpening, bathroom requests, etc. can wait until the teacher is done talking.
Is sewing the last thing we will do in the class this semester?
NO, we will go back to cooking after Thanksgiving until the end of the semester.
How do I get points on assignments in this class?
Points are based off the following: PROJECTS - how well you work with one another, your communication with one another, how well you clean up, are you sharing your materials? Turn in Plans on time.
BOOK ASSIGNMENTS: Complete all the questions, find the answers in the book, turn them in on time.

What Is The First Thing You Must Do When You Enter the room?
Find your seat and read the board to see what we are doing today. Sit quietly and wait for instructions.
What Is The Bathroom Procedure?
Ask for a Hall Pass and wait for Mrs. D to generate one in Hall Pass on her computer. Go to the restroom down by the Choir room and return to class as quickly as you can.
What will we get to cook after Thanksgiving?
We will be making Christmas cookies, candy and holiday treats!
What happens when I bring back the Behavior Contract signed by my parent/guardian?
1. You are allowed to cook and sew in class.
