The Gross Out Fear
Slugs & Ears
Choose a member to be blindfolded, willingly to place their hand in a bowl of slugs & ears, and guess what the slugs and ears made out of.
The Dizzy Decontamination
the member will place their forehead on the top of the bat and spin 10 times. The member will then walk across a balance beam (tape on the floor) without falling over, and then build a cup pyramid in 45 seconds.
The Spiders Nest
The member must reach into a tall, opaque cylinder filled with shredded, static-charged plastic wrap and white yarn. The Goal: Find 5 "eggs" (ping-pong balls) at the very bottom.
Eyeballs
Kids must reach in and identify the object" inside bowl, while being blindfolded, within 30 seconds.
The Medusa Stare
The Mission: They must maintain eye contact for 2 minutes. The Twist: After the first 30 seconds, a "Distraction Squad" (other kids or staff) can stand nearby and make funny noises, tell jokes, or dance—but they cannot touch the contestants or block their line of sight. The Goal: If a student laughs, blinks excessively, or looks away, they are out. It’s a true test of "poker face" mental toughness.
The Aileen Egg Transfer
Grab a pair of chopsticks, and the member chosen to come will have 45 seconds to get the oily peeled hard-boiled eggs into the bowl without dropping. The eggs will be soaking in oil and pickle juice. If the members drop the egg, then the time ends, and a member from another team has a chance to steal the points
Dragon's Breath
Prepare a tray of harmless crackers. Most have plain cream cheese, but three are "Dragon Crackers" topped with a heavy dose of wasabi or extra-hot horseradish.
The Static Shock
Use a Van de Graaff generator (common in science labs) or simply have students rub balloons on their hair to build up a massive static charge. The Goal: Students must reach out and touch a metal doorknob or a "grounding" pole to release the spark.
Leaky Biohazard
A large Ziploc bag with lukewarm water and a few drops of green neon food coloring will be Poke 20 tiny holes in the bottom with a safety pin. The Goal: One student must hold the "leaky biohazard". while another student tries to plug the holes with mini-marshmallows or chewing gum. members will be given one minute to complete the challenge
The Sour Face
The student must place the item in their mouth and chew/suck on it for 60 full seconds. The Goal: They must maintain a completely "neutral" face. No squinting, no puckering, and no shivering. If they "make a face," the timer restarts, or they lose the point.
The Worm Hunt
On the table is a pie pan filled with chocolate pudding and mayo. At the bottom, there are 15 gummy worms that your teammate has to pick up using only their mouth. There will be 45 seconds on the clock.
Brain Freeze
A competition to see which team can finish a small cup of shaved ice or a popsicle the fastest.
Needle in they haystack
In the large bin with toothpicks, there are 20 small plastic "ticks" (black beans or small beads) at the very bottom. The Goal: The student has 60 seconds to find all 20 items.
The "Squishy" Walk
Blindfold the contestant and have them walk through the bins to reach a "treasure" at the end.
The Frozen Finger
The Mission: Students must hold the ice cube in their tightly clenched fist. The Goal: The first person to let the ice cube melt completely without opening their hand or dropping it wins.
The Mystery Puree
Come up to the table, place the blindfold over your eyes. The staff is going to give four different purees on a spoon, and the member must guess all four correctly.
Toe Fishing
Fill a bucket with ice-cold water and marbles. The member has to sit on the edge and use their toes to fish out as many marbles as they can in one minute.
The Cactus Transfer
In the small watermelon, there will be toothpicks halfway into it, leaving the sharp ends sticking out. Paint the tips red. The Goal: Using only their lips, students must pull out 10 specific "spines" (toothpicks marked with a black Sharpie) without letting their nose or cheeks touch any other toothpicks.
The Canned Mystery
The member must reach into the can (don't let them see inside!) and pull out a handful of the "contents" to show the audience before eating a bite.
Dragon's Egg
A hard-boiled egg that has been sitting in a bowl of very warm (not scalding) water. The Mission: The student must hold the "Dragon's Egg" in their bare hands without putting it down or shifting it between hands. The Goal: Hold the egg for 3 full minutes.
The Mystery Smoothie
Come up to the table, place the blindfold over your eyes. The member is going to say yes or no to an item to build a smoothie. The member must drink half of the smoothie to get the points. A bonus point is included if the member drinks the whole cup.
The Static Balloon Squeeze
There are 5 balloons blown up to their maximum capacity (so they are very thin). Coat the balloons in sticky syrup or honey. The Goal: The student must sit on the balloons, one by one, to pop them while keeping their eyes open and hands behind their back.
The Icy Grave Dig
Fill a large basin with slushy ice water and hide 20 small beads at the bottom. The Goal: The student must reach in and thread all 20 beads onto the yarn while their hand is submerged.
The Mystery Sip
There will be a line up 10 opaque cups with straws. 9 Cups: Contain cold chocolate. 1 Cup: Contains Cold Beef Broth mixed with a spoonful of Mayonnaise (for "clumps"). The Goal: On the count of three, the member will take a sip from each cup. If they get the cold beef broth and mayo, the game is over. The member wants to get all the cups with chocolate milk.
The Electric Lemon
Pour a packet of popping candy onto something sour and put the whole thing in your mouth. The Result: The fizzing, popping, and sourness create a chaotic sensory "explosion." The Goal: Keep it in the mouth for 30 seconds without reacting or making a sound
