No! Can be at risk of botulism. We should put it in damages.
What are damages or shrink? What is reclamation?
Damages are any product not sellable. Shrink how we process that non-sellable product in CAO. Vendor product is done by vendors. Reclamation is where the product goes AFTER it has been shrunk out in CAO.
How do I request time off?
In Vantage. Must be done 2 weeks in advance to the Sunday
What Merch departments can wear a hat?
Dairy and Frozen. Only Wegmans issued uniform hats/head coverings are to be worn. Hats/head coverings should only be worn in departments where they are required due to our Food Safety Policy and in departments where weather or climate conditions may require additional warmth or head covering.
Can chemicals be stored above food product?
No! Food safety hazard in case of leaks or spills
What does PI stand for in CAO and how does a PI change?
Perpetual Inventory. We impact the PI whenever we do a cycle count, shrink, or a sale is made.
What does CAO stand for and why do we use it?
Computer Assisted Ordering - we use it to help efficiently and accurately write orders
Is it okay to wear one earbud at any point while on the clock working?

What are the proper call out procedures?
Call out 2 hours before your shift starts. If someone other than a Day Grocery TL (Cris and Dom-C) or Manager (Jill), or Merch Manager (Thomas W) takes your call, you need to call back within 4 hours of your original start shift time.
What Wegmans approved polos need to be tucked in and how many buttons can be undone?
Only Wegmans issued uniform polo shirts may be worn. There are two styles available; any employee may wear either style. The Men's Traditional Cut must be tucked in, and Women's Traditional Tapered Cut may be untucked. For whichever shirt is worn, only the top button of shirt may be unbuttoned
What CANNOT be put in a compost bin?
Anything that's supposed to go in the Smarter Sorter (ex. most cleaning chemicals and aerosol cans), glass, or ceramic packaging.

Black, gray, navy, or khaki solid-colored dress pants must be worn; fabric may be stretchy as long as pants are not form-fitting and look professional. Jeans, corduroys, sweatpants, yoga pants, tights and capri pants are not acceptable.
What areas are we most concerned with spillage with regards to a food safety audit?
