If you are absent, can you write your friend's answers down as your answers for an assigment?
No-even if your friend is ok with it. Your friend can help you understand material, but your work needs to be your own.
How do you ask for an extension?
Name one classroom material Ms. Kaiser is asking you to bring and provide for yourself (not marked "provided by GGA")
You completed your work on paper at home, and don't want to turn it in late. How can you turn it in on time?
Take a picture of the work, and email Ms. Kaiser the picture.
If you turn an assignment in late (unexcused) how many points are deducted?
One point is deducted for each day the assignment is late.
What happens if you plagiarize or or copy work?
You will receive a zero without the opportunity to redo the assignment, and a referral.
If someone asks for an extension the day something is due, will they get an extension?
No-only in the case of a serious emergency.
Does GGA have loaner laptops this year?
No :(
How many absences before you have to retake the class?
30 absences.
If you don't turn in an assignment, what happens in the gradebook?
It gets a zero-it is not left blank.
Give an example of plaigarism
Your friend told you what you missed in class; do you still need to check in with Ms. Kaiser?
Yes! It's great to check in with friends, but still double check, just in case.
Do you really have to keep your phone away?
Yes, and Ms. Kaiser will keep hers away unless necessary for things like timers.
You must bring a written doctor's note to the main office, who will make the appropriate changes.

PowerSchool or Google Classroom
Is having your caregiver help with an assignment plaigarism?
Help is great! But if your caregiver is doing the work, that is still plaigarism.
You have a unique situation, and aren't sure if it's something you can get an extension for or not. What should you do?
Ask! It's better to ask and to know.
