Week-long sports competition between UM law school and UM med school (sports incl soccer, dodgeball, flag football, volleyball, Mario kart, poker, ultimate frisbee, bowling, weightlifting, tennis, golf, etc.)
What is bar review?
Law students will all meet at a pre-designated bar to get to know each other/have fun somewhere other than the bricks
Can I go out/go the the gym consistently/hang with my home friends during the year?
Yes! Do NOT stop doing the things you love!! Otherwise you will burn out and be so unhappy! If for ex going to the gym is your thing, do not stop doing that!! We promise there is enough time! During finals might be a little different but during the year you will have time and should make time!

Should I go out of town/on vacation over fall break?
It’s up to you but is ENCOURAGED!! Go have fun before finals stress starts!! You can do a wknd vacay and study during the week if you want to catch up on readings but try to at least take 1 day for yourself!
How did Sara and Iara meet?
At an event just like this! We met at a dinner event to introduce 1Ls to upperclassmen and now we’re exploring Canada together for a law conference (yay free trip ty um law)
Why is our mascot an ibis?

Is it better to study by myself or in a study group for law school classes?
It depends on you!!! No one knows you better than you. If you studied better on your own in college that will prob be best for you, etc. but also don’t be afraid to try new study methods! Just don’t try everything everyone tells u have confidence in yourself and do what’s best for yoy
