How does "Good News Friday" work?


Once you are placed on the "List" you are monitored for respectful behavior, good effort, and submitting assignments on time. If you do all that as best you can, after school on Friday I (your teacher) call your home with the "Good News"

If you are absent from school, what do you need with you when you return?

A note from a parent or doctor. Unless your parents call the office.

Should I email you or any other teacher in the evening the night before to ask a question about a project that is due the next day?

You may, however I/he/she will likely not see it until the next day.  If you assignment is not complete, let the teacher know this in the morning. (Maybe during homeroom.) Try not to wait until class.

Be quiet and wait for directions.  Walk calmly to the door and leave the room according to fire drill directions.

Leave the bathroom right away and exit through the nearest doorway.  Report to the nearest teacher once you are outside the building.  The teacher will give you instructions.
