If I am absent, do I have to turn in my work that I missed while I am gone?
No. Ask this question several days early. Your teacher will have you demonstrate how to upload the assignment so that everyone in the class can learn.
If I do not know how to submit an assignment, is it okay to ask for help the day it is due?

Yes, if an assignment has been given, your teacher expects you to complete it, and even post it or submit it online early. Never turn it in late. You are not excused if the assignment. Turn things in early - not late.
If a homework assignment is due and I am sick, am I expected to turn it in the day I get back?
Yes, by using skype or googledocs.
If you are working in a group, can a member of your group participate if he or she is absent?
When is ASK?
Go to Assignments in Canvas. Then look for the type of submission you have (googledoc, word, pdf,). Upload the assignment and submit.

Always!
Can I turn in homework early?
Always ask the question in the classroom. If you have a question, someone else probably has the same question. No question is silly to your teacher unless someone has already has asked it five times already.
If I have a question for my teacher, when should I ask it?
No, but you can participate in cast or crew of the spring Musical. We start on this in November.
