Yes. There will be a place for them to hang out, but they will not be able to go through the check in process with you.

What is the process to reapply?
To reapply you would need to fill out a form, pay a small fee, do online registration, and submit proof of your meningitis shot record.

Will I have time to move into my apartment on arrival day?
Yes. After you are done checking in you can head out to your assigned apartment to meet all your roommates (before housing orientation).

Can I request to work less if I decide to take multiple classes?
You bet! Please let your work location know you are taking online classes with your university as soon as possible. They will work with you. You can also give away shifts fairly easily to fellow cast members.

What is a wellness apartment?
An apartment where alcohol is prohibited. If you are under 21 you will be placed in a wellness apartment. If you are 21 you can choose which type of apartment to live in.

What is the HUB?
This is where you will request time off, check your schedule and pay stubs. You can also book hotels reservations, check block out date, and much more!

Do I have to fill out any paper work for Texas State University before I leave?
Yes! There is a withdrawal form you must complete through the registrar's office. For complete details please contact the registrar's office. Please also contact financial aid before you leave to check for any necessary paperwork for their office. Their process differs case by case.

What is housing orientation and when does it take place? Housing orientation is where you will learn about housing rules. It takes place in the evening of your check in day.

Can I have friends and/or family spend the night at my apartment?
NO! Everyone has to be out by 1am or there will be serious consequences! All guests must also se signed in by you at the front gate.

Yes! Everything is done through the HUB. There you will be able to pick up shifts and get rid of shifts.
