No. You must have a current student ID card,to borrow textbooks, and any library materials.

I can locate a book in the Library as long as I know the title.
No. To locate a book in the Library, you must have the Call Number, which appears in the record for the book and will match the Call Number found on the spine of the book.

Yes, the Library keeps copies of current newspapers which students may borrow with an ID card or access newspapers through our databases on the Library homepage.

No. Use Wikipedia to gain background information on your topic, and then use the library databases to find authoritative sources for your research.

No. All WCC students can also do research from any computer with internet access 24/7

No. Food or drink is not permitted in the Library.

No. The Library has some, but not all textbooks for all courses.

Yes. The Library's Interlibrary Loan Service will request books and articles from another Library, but note that it may take up to three weeks.

Yes. Go to the Library homepage, and click on Schedule an Appointment under the How Do I tab.

You must sign up to use a Group Study Room located on the first and second floors of the Library
No. Group (2-8) study rooms are available for quiet group work on a first-come, first-serve basis.

No. Printing for academic purposes is free for registered students, but their is a limit of 500 pages per semester.

No. The more popular textbooks cannot be renewed so that all students can have access to them.

No. Campus wifi does not require a password. Look for the Asgard Wireless Network.

Yes. Under the Research tab, click on Research Guides to access general and subject specific research guides for your class.

No. There are also circulating books located on the third floor of the Library.

No. Computers may be used whenever they are available.

No. Laptops are available for use in the Library ONLY Mon. - Thur. from 10-2. Two forms of ID required--government issues and student ID.

If you need tech support with Blackboard, you can go to Online Education located on the 3rd floor of the Library
Yes. While a librarian or tech may be able to answer a brief questions, the Online Education office is the expert.

No. Materials may only be borrowed with a valid student ID card.
