Set up new customer, even if the customer has existing history. Before entering in anything else into the POS, select customer type as "Fleet" and choose "Fleet Payment Card- WEX"
Why is it important to WEX to provide programs like WEX Edge and Fuel Payment cards at BSRO?
It is the person who the teammate needs to identify by asking the driver who we need to call to get work approved. It may be the driver, the driver's manager, or a specific fleet manager. Find out from the driver who that is!
What should teammates do if vehicle needs work outside of the work provided in the initial appointment?
Create a separate quote, and call the fleet manager who was identified in the appointment notes, offering to allow them to let the driver pay with their WEX Fuel card. No matter what, this will have to be paid for separately.
What should you do if store teammate tells you that they called the number on the back of the fuel card and they were told to do something special?
Trick Question... kind of. The WEX techs do not approve work, and the teammate needs to identify the "Go-To" person for the driver's company.
