this is the turning point of the story. The main character comes face to face with a conflict. The main character will change in some way
Climax
A conflict that is usually associated with an external conflict.
man vs nature
Irony involving a situation in which actions have an effect that is opposite from what was intended, so that the outcome is contrary to what was expected.
Situational irony
all loose ends of the plot are tied up
Falling action
the story comes to a reasonable ending
