I should set the table with the forks, knives, spoons, plates and glasses. Also, ask her if there is anything else she needs help doing.
You see a student crying after school out in the hallway.
What would you say?
"Hey, why are you upset?" or "Are you ok?"
You bump into a person at the grocery store as you are walking past them.
What would you say?
"Excuse me. I didn't mean to bump into you."
Your friend calls you and asks if you would like to come over on a school night.
What do you say?
"I would love to come over. Let me ask my mom if I can come today." or "I am not allowed to go to a friend's house on a school night. Can we get together this weekend?"
The teacher asks you if you know the answer to a question.

I would answer the question if I know it. If I don't know the answer, I'll ask for some choices or ask for help.
You can't find your favorite t-shirt and you want to wear it today.

I can look for it one more time and then, if I can't find it, ask my parent or sibling to help me.

I should go outside with my class and stand in our designated spot away from the building.

Tell them that wasn't very nice & you hurt my feelings or walk away & ignore them.

I would check the floor for papers or pencils. Also, I could ask to help wipe down the desks and tables.

"Hey, can I watch one of my shows now?" or "Can I watch my show when yours is over?"
You get turned around in the hallway, and you can't remember how to get back to your classroom.

I can ask a student or teacher in the hallway for help. If nobody is there, I can go to a classroom and ask a teacher or wait for someone to come by & ask them.
You go to the shoe store to get some new gym shoes. They don't have the ones you want in your size.

Ask the clerk, "Do you have these shoes in my size?" or "Can you order these shoes for me in my size?"
Your friend tells you that their mom & dad are mad at them.

Tell them, "It will be ok. Talk to your mom & dad, and you will work things out." or "Apologize if you did something wrong, and they will understand."
During class, you accidentally fall asleep. Your teacher is upset.

I should apologize & tell the teacher I didn't sleep well last night or that I'm not feeling well.
Your parents are having an argument and it upsets you.
What should you do?
Walk to my bedroom and listen to music on my headphones. Then, I can talk to them later and explain why their fight upset me.

I need to go along with this story and pay attention because sometimes we have to do things we don't always enjoy.

We should stop on the sidewalk and wait until the light turns green.

I should put all the dirty clothes in the laundry basket and remember to put my clothes in there from now on.
The teaching assistant asks you to work with someone in class that you don't like.

I can work with that person and see if we can get along for this activity or project. Also, I can talk to the teaching assistant in the hallway and ask for a different partner because I don't feel comfortable.
You are in a crowded store and you get separated from your family.

Ask a clerk or store worker to help you find them, or go to the courtesy desk and ask the manager to make an announcement.
