Where you go to obtain official class excuses.
What is the Office of Student-Oriented Services? Ms. Alfreda Horton is the coordinator for the office. If a student should need an official university excuse for a class due to illness or other extenuating circumstances, a student should contact her office to obtain an official excuse.

Where you go to talk about receiving grants and financial aid, ask about student loans, and get help with filling out FASFA.
What is the Financial Aid Office? (Located in Kennard-Washington Hall) This is NOT where you can pay your student bill. You can pay your student bill at Forrest County Hall.

What is the Department of Residence Life? Located in Hickman Hall, the Residence Life Office can address all questions regarding the Residence Halls, becoming an RA, and the Residence Life Rules and Regulations.

What is Eagle Dining? The Eagle Dining office is located on the Ground Floor of the Thad Cochran Center. Students can go here to add bonus bucks or dining dollars, change their meal plans, and inquire about future meal options.

What is the University Police Department? UPD is the police force responsible for the entire campus. Their headquarters is located on the North side of Bond Hall.

What is Parking Management? The Parking Management Office is located on the first floor of McLemore Hall at the front of campus. Every student who plans on driving to and parking on campus is required to have a parking decal for their vehicle.

What is the Moffitt Health Center (Student Health Services)? Located in Century Park South, this state of the art primary care facility can help students whenever they are feeling under the weather, need to have their prescriptions filled/delievered, and to receive immunizations/vaccinations.

What is the SGA Office? The SGA Office is located on the Second Floor of the Student Activities Hub.

What is Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA)? FAFSA must be filled out each year by the student or the student's parents to be elligible for Federal Aid. Federal Aid can include grants (Pell Grant) and loans.

What is the Student Counciling Services? Located in McLemore Hall, Student Counseling Services offers individual, group, and couples counseling. In addition, this office can help with stress, personal, or school-related issues. Their motto is "Life happens, let's talk about it."
