How would you respond to a guest?

BB Teacher: If Jesus could give you one gift for you, what would you like to receive this year?
Guest: Peace in my mind thinking about things that are going on in my life at the moment.
BB Teacher: How would you respond?

Amen. As a parent, we always want to give to our children what they want and need. I am sure God and Jesus will also give you the peace you need.

(Tip! We must find out the prospect's concern and interest/needs)

400

How would you respond to a guest?

BB Teacher: Why do they believe in Jesus?
Guest: Because he bore the cross for my sins
BB Teacher: How would you respond?

Amen. Yes that true, He bore the Cross for our sins. Did you know that bearing the cross and crucification was a Roman capital punishment at that time? So it wasn't only Jesus who bore the cross. There were many others who were crucified. In fact, Jesus wasn't the only person with that name Jesus. Yesterday I went to Chik-Fil-A, and the worker kept calling the name of the person who ordered food, 'Jesus! Jesus!' There are so many who had the same name, Jesus, back then 2,000 years ago. What if there was someone else whose name was Jesus, and he too bore the cross. How do we make sure that the Jesus we believe in is the real Jesus God sent?

Some may say I believe in Jesus because he resurrected. That's right that he is the resurrection and the life, but did you know there was someone else in the Bible who also resurrected? Lazarus. His body was decaying but Jesus resurrected him from death.

For us, we believe in Jesus, but if we would talk with Muslims, they say Mohammad is the one God sent, and if we would talk with Buddhist, they would say God sent Siddhartha instead. Then what's the basis we have for believing in Jesus? Isn't it important to know this for ourselves, especially during this season of the year?

Where was Jesus born? And What book prophesies this City?

400

What makes Jesus different from other religious figures?

He fulfilled prophecy, resurrected, ascended, promised to return, and offers salvation.

400

Why was Nathanael convinced Jesus might be the Messiah?

Because Jesus matched what Moses and the prophets had written — the promised One.

400

How would you respond to a guest?

BB Teacher: What gift can you give to Jesus this year?
Guest: Myself. I really want to lean on him, and want to give myself to him, so he can lead me.
BB Teacher: How would you respond?

Wow, that's truly incredible that you want to give yourself to him. There is a promise in Prv 8:17.

500

How would you respond to a guest?

BB Teacher: Who is Jesus to you personally?
Guest: During this season of my life, he is someone I am leaning on and truly trusting due to things in life like my business, project, family and children, etc.
BB Teacher: How would you respond?

Amen. You really seem to be a woman of God and faith. You have a heart for God and Jesus, and you try not to lean on your own understanding, and you want to commit yourself to God. Your plan will truly succeed because you lean on him. The next question is...

500

Because of the census ordered by Caesar (Luke 2:1-7).

Teach/Explain these verses in 45 Seconds
Luke 2:1-7 In those days Caesar Augustus issued a decree that a census should be taken of the entire Roman world. 2 (This was the first census that took place while Quirinius was governor of Syria.) 3 And everyone went to their own town to register.

4 So Joseph also went up from the town of Nazareth in Galilee to Judea, to Bethlehem the town of David, because he belonged to the house and line of David. 5 He went there to register with Mary... While they were there, the time came for the baby to be born, 7 and she gave birth to her firstborn, a son...”

500

According to 1 Corinthians 15:3–4, what events happened “according to the Scriptures”?

That Christ died for our sins, was buried, and was raised on the third day — all according to the Scriptures.

500

Why is it important to examine whether “fire,” “clouds,” and “lightning” describing Jesus’ return are symbolic?

Because understanding the true, scriptural meaning helps us recognize His coming accurately, rather than imagining a random or physical appearance.
Because Jesus said everything at the end will happen according to Scripture. Understanding the Word prepares our hearts and protects our faith.
