I-tip Additions
Microbeads are applied along a parting to create a beaded row that serves as the foundation; wefts are sewn onto the beaded row and blended with the natural hair; also known as a braidless sew-in.
Microlink Sew-In Weft Additions
Artificial hair item designed to cover the entire head.
Wig
A synthetic, modacrylic hair fiber commonly used for braid additions.
Kanekalon
Hairpiece designed to be worn on top of the head to cover balding or thinning hair.
Hair Topper
Addition with an opening in the base that allows the client’s hair to be pulled through for blending purposes
Integration Hairpiece
Involve attaching beaded wefts to the natural hair using a weft plier; each hairstrand is picked up and pulled through a silicone bead to secure the weft to the hair.
Micro Weft Additions
Rows of hair that have been parted off, 3-strand braided and follow the curves of the head or continue in a straight line.
Tracks
Hair addition technique in which a three-strand, on-the-scalp braid is used as a support structure to which a hair weft (a strip of human or artificial hair) is then sewn.
