What is the Gospel?
We were created by God, who is in control of everything. He created us to love, serve and glorify Him.
But, because of the fall in the garden of Eden, we are all sinners and are separated from God.
The Bible tells us that the wages of our sin is death.
But out of His love for us, God sent His Son, Jesus to die on the cross, taking the sin of the world upon Himself and paying the ultimate penalty that we deserved for our sin.
It is only through belief in Jesus Christ, the Son of God, that people can be restored to God. And with the restoration comes eternal life with Him in Heaven and His presence here with us on earth in form of the Holy Spirit.
