Hockey
If you want to play hockey or go figure skating you will definitely need these on your feet.
Ice Skates
No one likes to do it, but if you want to walk around your house after a blizzard, or to free your car from snow - you'll need to do this!
Shoveling the Driveway/Sidewalk
These cover your hands and keep them from getting frostbite.
Thick Gloves
Going on a frozen pond with blades on your shoes, don't slip!
Ice Skating
Doing a gymnastics routine on the ice with Skates on your feet. Sometimes with a partner.
Figure Skating
Something to strap on your feet. Made of wood and look tennis rackets. To help you stand above the snow.
Snowshoes
You might sit on the back of a large sled, pulled by a horse. Bring a blanket and hot cocoa, enjoy the ride!
Take a Sleigh ride
You can wrap this around your neck and stuff down your coat to stay warmer.

A long sled the many people can sit on. Usually made of wood.
Tobogganing
A leader of a team glides a rock down the ice. Other members of the team try to slow it down to hit a target.
Curling
You score points with this object in Curling. And you slow it down by shaving the ice in front of it to build friction with this cleaning object.
Broom and Stones
Go around your neighborhood signing seasonal songs for everyone to hear!
Caroling
Arguably the most important piece of cold gear. It covers your body and arms.
A Winter Coat/Jacket
If you ball up some snow and throw it to a friend. You might end up starting one of these.
Snow-Ball Fights
Just like Skiing, but with just one board. You can go down hill, or if you wanted to do tricks maybe try the halfpipe!
Snowboarding
In the winter the snow is blinding, or you need to wear special things on your eyes to reflect the bright rays away. They look like sunglasses!
Reflective Goggles
A sled pulled by a group of animals working together to race across frozen landscapes.
Dog Sledding
These go on your feet when the snow is high and you don't want to ruin your shoes.
Winter Boots
All you need is a hat, some coal, a carrot. Oh and probably lots of snow.
Building Snowman
Take a ride down hill over 60 miles a hour on a slide made of solid ice! Look out below!
Luge
In Hockey both teams try to use their sticks to pass this object. Hoping it will be shot into the net.
Puck
A good defense for when your in a snowball fight - or if you lived in the artic! It can keep you warm and not melt!
