Live extractions - Take place while the plant is still living. The full matured cannabis plant is harvested and then instantly frozen to sub-zero temps. Locking in all of the water, terpenes, and natural compounds found within the plant during it's peak life cycle.

Cured extractions - Take place after the plant has been harvested and hung for "drying" purposes and then introduced to the extraction process. Much like aging grapes for fine wine :)
