He asked them to stop and explained to them that the lady was his wife who had come to visit him. The two ansaars felt upset that he should have felt the need to explain himself, but the Prophet answered that shaytan could become part of a human being to such an extent that he could course through the body with their blood. He did not want shaytan to whisper evil suspicions in their hears.
