I think Auggie feels nervous because in paragraph 6 it says he has been learning at home until now. Also, in P3 he says he doesn't like people staring at him and I think many people will stare at him at school.

I think he thought it was difficult because in p5 Auggie thought the school was big and it was not easy to remember everything; Also, in P3 Julian was quite rude to Auggie.

I think Auggie is happy because he has a new friend, because Summer starts to sit with Auggie, and in p5 he says he is less frightened knowing where to sit at lunch. Summer seems like a good friend because in P4 they joke about the Summer table.
