What are interview appropriate clothes?

Dress shirt, slacks, dress pants, a skirt, a blouse, clean shoes, clean socks, tuck your shirt in. No excessive jewelry, no excessive make-up, no sandals or flip flops.

Even if the interview is virtual (online), you should still dress as you would if the interview was in person.

A business says to apply online. What does that mean?

Applying online means using the internet to complete the job application, usually through the business' website.

Be sure to give yourself enough time to complete the application. Sometimes they take a while!

NO! You should keep your eyes on the interviewer during an interview. If eye contact is awkward for you, try your best, take moments to look at something on their desk, or wall, but never up or down.
