Reason Codes (air)
Area in an airport where passengers for a flight gather before boarding their flight or deplane on arrival
VI* = Terminal
Gate
A ticket issued on a fare that does not allow for a refund; most of these fare type tickets can be changed for a fee and any difference in fare.
Non-refundable (NR)
COMPLEAT is an automated routine that translates account specific information from the PNR and completes the reservation to with remark and/or invoice detail.
File Finish - COMPLEAT

Itinerary
Permission from the validating carrier for the traveler to use the flight coupon(s) for trave on another airline at no additional cost. It is also a remark in the ticketing field to advise if the ticket is refundable or nonrefundable.
Endorsement/Non-Endorsable
The distance between aircraft seats, measured in inches and commonly used to show a passenger's legroom.
Seat Pitch
Two or more tickets concurrently issued to a passenger, and which together constitute a single contract of carriage.
Conjunction Ticket
An airline does this when the passenger's travel date or flight needs to be changed, without affecting the route, there is always a need to reissue the ticket.
Revalidate
An airline transportation ticket that is entirely in a GDS (electronically);no physical ticket is required for travel
ETR Electronic Ticket Record
A fee charged by a carrier or vendor for changing and/or canceling a reservation or ticket; fees vary so always check the fare rules to verify
A partition (usually a wall) on an airplane separating cabins.
Bulkhead
Airline designated as the "owning" ticketed carrier; the carrier on whose 'plate' the ticket is issued, which payment is submitted and is usually the 1st carrier on the itinerary (domestic)
Validating Carrier
A sub-department within BCD Travel that is responsible for the issuing of tickets (electronic and manual) and other support functions.

Exchange
Ticket on File
Aircraft with wide passenger cabins and seating configurations that require more than one aisle. Current models include Boeing 747, 767, 777, 787 and Airbus A330, A340, A350, A380
Wide Body Aircraft
Tracks and identifies tickets eligible for benefits agreed upon between carriers and customers. It is a reference required by an airline on a ticket to validate the corporate discounts or commission override.

A robotic application that performs a variety of routines such as limited queue management, automated voids, and DU Shuttles
Qrobot
A document issued by a seller to the buyer that indicates the travel services being purchased. Payment terms indicate the amount the a buyer has to pay for the services
