When is the host only fee mandatory?
This fee is mandatory for traditional hospitality listings–such as hotels, serviced apartments, etc., as well as software-connected hosts (unless most of their listings are in the USA, Canada, the Bahamas, Mexico, Argentina, Taiwan, or Uruguay). All Hosts with API connection will be enrolled to Host Only Fee and will not be able to opt out.

When a hold is placed on a payout to prevent it from being sent out to the User.

Most Hosts pay a 3% fee, but some pay more, including: - Hosts with listings in Italy -Hosts with Super Strict cancellation policies

Vault/$0 authorization and Full authorization
What are two differences between coupons and credits?
Most credits not having an expiration date while all coupons do
After booking unused credits remain on the account and can be used in the future but the remaining value of a coupon would be lost
Valid credits can be combined at the time of checkout to pay for a reservation but coupons cannot be combined
How are payouts calculated?
Your nightly rate plus your optional extra charges (a cleaning fee or extra guest fee, etc.) minus the Host service fee and any Co-Host payouts you share = your payout
If a Guest's refund was less than expected what may be the reason?
It may be a PLUF or a long term reservation where they only paid a part of the reservation's total amount.
If a Guest cancels outside the cancellation policy's free period then this may also be the reason at which point we would have to educate them
What is the Host- only fee?
With this structure, the entire fee is deducted from the Host payout. It’s typically 14–16%, though Hosts with Super Strict cancellation policies may pay more.

Account settings > Payments and payouts > Payment methods > Add payment method
