Since this is nonfiction, it is about real people and real-life events. Therefore, there is no "character," per se, nor is there a "setting." Those are words reserved for stories found in fiction, not books about real-life people and events.

The closing is also an important part of the letter. It's your way of saying "good-bye" and conveys the feeling you wish to express to your friend. Name three different closings for a letter (there are more than three).
