A bed for a young person who is couch surfing at a place a room became available so they can stabilize long term.
What is an eligible use of funds?
Requires that a YYA is exiting or has exited a system of care at any point in their past.
What is YDIP?
This is the tool requesters should use to assist in generating housing solutions/possibilities.
What is the Eco-Map?
A young person can stay with their friend's family until they graduate if a one-time payment is made toward the household electric bill.
What is an eligible housing solution?
Car repairs so that a young person can move parking lots to avoid being towed by parking enforcement.
What is an ineligible use of funds?
This project uses a definition of homelessness to include: unsheltered, staying in a shelter, doubled up/couch surfing, fleeing DV or other violent situation, at imminent risk of becoming homeless.
What is HPDF and YDIP?
This is the most important part of the diversion process. (Not the $$$)
What is the creative housing conversation?
Having an outbuilding where a young person is sleeping converted into a habitable structure.
What is a eligible housing solution?
Books for college so a young person can secure their opportunity to live in campus housing.
