Japan was also suffering an economic depression. The Japanese citizens desired new resources to sustain a regular lifestyle. So, in result of this desire, the Japanese military invaded China, Korea, Vietnam and other South East Asian countries. The US soon became aware of this invasion of territories which made Japan concerned. This resulted in Japan attacking Pearl Harbor. America responded quickly and was immediately dragged into the war. Then, WWII started in Asia.
