CSL is California Sick leave. First, call/text immediate supervisor asking to use CSL at least 2 hours before the scheduled shift. Second, once approved by a supervisor put in a request on Paycom with the reason in the comment section. (04.09)

What is the one to one policy?
The policy states that a member and a staff can not be in a one to one setting. There must always be another staff or member present.

A member bumps their head on a table after picking up trash from underneath them. They tell you they hit their head and it hurts a little. What would be the procedure after this?
First, notify the Supervisor. Then, check for concussion symptoms. Next, provide necessary first aid. Afterwards, complete the Head Injury Report and Incident report. Lastly, communicate and provide the head injury report to the parent.
When going on field trips how many members can a staff take?
One staff can take ten members.

When entering the classroom you notice a teacher has cleaning supplies by the sink and what looks like wooden planks used for building things in the floor. You need to use the classroom and can’t borrow someone else’s classroom. What do you do?
Move cleaning supplies out of sight and to a place members would not be able to access.
Put cones around the wooden planks making it obvious the members can not go near the area.
An unfamiliar person asks you to open the gate for them. They are holding tools and wearing construction clothes. They say they’re working on something for the school but they do not have an ID. What do you do?
Deny entry, notify supervisor to communicate with the office and ask the employee to check in through the office.
If the power goes out in the entire school and we are unsure of when it will be back on what do we do?
Call parents to pick up members. It is a safety hazard. We are not allowed to be in rooms with the lights turned off. We can not all be outside for extended amount of time due to heat exhaustion and if it is night, we can not be outside in the dark either.
