How to make a page in edesign?
1. Create the template (boxes for photos and text).
2. Add photos and text.
3. Resize and shape boxes till everything fits perfectly.
Clubs/organizations
All school groups/clubs are pictured here with names of members listed. There is also a short description of each club.
Spine
Area of the yearbook connecting the front and back covers. The name of the school, name of the book, city/state, volume number and year should appear on the spine in a way that reflects the theme.
Copy
The story.
Divider
A spread used to separate each of the sections of the yearbook.

Student life
School events and photos relating to certain prompts are here. Opinions of some student are included.
Folio
The page number and the topic of a spread placed as a unit traditionally at the bottom left and bottom right of the spread.
White space
The empty space on a page that prevents overcrowding.
Signature
A 16-page grouping made up of two 8-page flats.
What makes a “good” page?
The story, the quality of work, the colors, having good quality photos, and the page is meaningful and important.
Academics
Mentions important academic achievements of students.
Table of contents
Listing of the pages containing the opening, sections, index and closing.
Layout
The way the pages are set up or the way the entire yearbook is set up.
Ladder
A page-by-page listing of the yearbook's contents.
Headline
A bold or larger line of text at the top of a story that summarizes or introduces what it is about.
Section spin off
A "mini theme" used as a section title. Spinoffs may help carry the theme throughout the book.
Colophone
A list of the technical printing information about the yearbook, including price, number of copies, colors, fonts, photography company and awards won by previous year's book.
Dominant photo
The main photo on a page usually is the biggest and includes all members of clubs and sports or majority of the student body.
Pica
Unit of measurement equal to 1/6 inch.
Theme
A verbal statement and a visual look which tie all parts of the yearbook together.
