Please describe the tilak chandalo prasang we talked about last week.
There were countless occasions when Maharaj revealed Gunatitanand Swami’s true form as Akshar. Once, during the Fuldol festival in Panchala, Maharaj gave the sadhus an agna to come the following day with tilaks on their forehead. The next day, none of the sadhus came back with a tilak. Instead, they thought that the yellow clay chalk (chandan) that Maharaj gave them was prasad, so they ate it. Maharaj gave them another piece and gave them the same agna again. This time, the sadhus came back with tilaks, but everyone’s tilak was different because they did not know what it was supposed to look like. Maharaj then took a piece of chandan Himself and placed a tilak on Gunatitanand Swami. Pointing at Gunatitanand Swami, He then said, “This is our tilak. There is no Bhagwan superior to Me, and there is no sadhu to match him.” In this way, Maharaj revealed His own identity and Gunatitanand Swami’s identity.
