It is the middle of Reading class, and we are working on vocabulary words, your pencil goes dull or breaks. What can you do, now? Sharpen your pencil?
NO! Borrow a pencil from the sharps side of the blue bin, and then PUT IT BACK on the dull side to be sharpened at the end of the day.

*Sharpen your pencils in the morning when you get here, or use mechanical pencils*
If you see someone pushing, yelling at, or hurting another child...what are two things you can OR should do?
1. Go tell them to stop/Break it up!
2. Go tell an adult you saw something unsafe happening and tell them where.

WHEN YOU GET HERE; put your lunch pail in the bin and at recess place the bin in the hall at the back of the lunch area before going outside.
What happens if you have to complete a 'refocus slip'? What about 2 refocus slips?
You complete your first refocus slip during AM recess and lose most of it.
If you make it to TWO refocus slips, you lose lunch/recess and must complete the slip in the classroom, and your parents will be notified.
