He wants to get you in on it but you have to provide some basic information for him to give to his investor.

You get an email from a company claiming to be an affiliate of the bank your accounts are with. They know that you have a loan out and say that they need some more information in order to finish closing despite the fact that you have already signed closing papers.
What is non-disclosure. Do not provide information through email just because a company claims to be connected to your financial institution.

You are doing some shopping a small store before you go to work. An individual approaches you wearing a name tag and asks if they can help. They offer to take the items you have in your hand up to the counter and start ringing them out for you so you can get to work on time. They also ask you if you would like to provide your credit card and they can get the process started for ringing you out.
