Talk with your peers and let them know you will be stepping away.
A youth tells you they want to use the air hockey table.
Have the youth check out the equipment and walk with them to make sure the table is plugged in and on.

I hear a call on the walkie but I am not sure who it was for.
-"can you repeat that?"
-"who was that for?"
A youth is throwing pool balls at another youth.
Immediately remove the pool balls from their hands and escort them away from the area. Call for manager/MOD.
This is how old a kid needs to be to be in the Loft without an adult.
8 years old.
A kid falls playing soccer and says his ankle hurts.
-Take them off the field if you can
-Call a code
-Assess to see if it is red/swelling
I hear kids talking about wanting to fight each other.
-Separate kids ASAP
-Call manager/MOD
-Do not let kids near each other
I have a member that is frustrated and I am not sure what to do.
Call for manager/MOD.
Youth is banging on the ping pong table with a paddle and is not stopping.
Ask them to stop. If they do not stop, call manager or MOD, or remind them that they will no longer be able to use the game if they do not follow the rules.
This is how old a kid needs to be to be alone in the building.

A youth reports that someone is bullying them and threatens to hurt them.
-Take them to a quiet spot to get more information and make a report
-Keep them in eye distance
I see a kid fall and lose consciousness.
-Call Code Blue
-Clear the area
I feel frustrated about another staff member.
-Talk to your manager
-Try to talk to them
-Have empathy and remember that we are all here for the same reason
A youth is looking at inappropriate images on the laptops.
-Take it away immediately.
-Contact manager/MOD
-Child should no longer be able to use such equipment
This is the code we call if a behavior is out of control.
Code 44.
Youth makes threats to harm you.
-Separate yourself, call code 44
A kid under the age of 12 left the Loft without an adult/
-Follow them and ask where they are going
-Call front desk to see if they are leaving for the day
I need to take the day off, but I am on the schedule.
Youth are throwing ping pong balls over the ledge.
-Take the paddles away and tell them to go get the balls and bring them back.
-Tell them they cannot play anymore for the day.
-Show them the right way to play
