What is forming: primary tension. Our group knew each other fairly well prior to this experience. We all met each other in separate settings and so the hardest part of the forming stage was integrating all these setting together to form an overall perception of the individual.

What is the secondary tension that groups experience called and how did your group experience this?
What is the storming stage. I would say the first time we went to Youth Impact was our storming stage. We were required to do an hour orientation prior to our service. The car ride up was semi-awkward and once we actually got into the facility we questioned if we really wanted to pursue this opportunity. Also scheduling times to go there was a challenge we faced.

How did your group experience the norming stage in group development?
What is our second time at Youth Impact when we were able to work/play with the children. There was a continued uneasiness within the group but we knew that eventually it would subside and we knew it was necessary to accomplish our goal.

What is the overall emotional atmosphere of the group. Our climate was a positive tone while at Youth Impact and throughout the project. We listened to everyone's ideas on how to create a fun experience for the kids.
