It's raining while I'm walking home, and a friendly stranger offers me a ride home in their car. They say that they're a friend of my parents, and they don't want to see me get sick from the rain. Is it ok for me to get in their car? 

NO. It is never ok to get into a car with a stranger, even if they say that they're a friend of your parents. If you want to be sure, call your parents and ask if they know the person before EVER stepping foot inside a stranger's car, as they could be lying and trying to kidnap or hurt you.

Personal boundaries are the rules that people set for themselves about how others are allowed to engage with them. Examples of personal boundaries could be "I don't like being hugged by people outside of my family", "I don't want to give people money when they ask", or "I don't want to spend time with certain people".
