How do Anglerfish reproduce?

When two anglerfish don't love each other very much, the ocean is a lonely place - the male will bite into the female and remain attached to her head, belly, tail, or other accessible spots. His tiny mouth dissolves into the female's skin, and the two become one. In the process, the female gains his cells, DNA, and reproductive organs.
