How do you upgrade the KT-4?
Complete all of your trails. For the first part wait until lightning strikes the skull altar and pull out your shield then run to Lab B and hit the control panel of the cage, get into the cage, and pick up the vial from the skeleton. For the second part fight the spider boss and pick up a part by his body. For the final part, mesmerize the map and the elevator wall then retrieve the rainbow water from the sewer, then go to the underwater tunnels and mesmerize the wall. Then plant a seed in the spot that appears and water it three times (waiting 3 rounds) then retrieve the part and go to the upgrade table and press square.

Players must acquire three machine tool parts to lower the water: 1. Knife the Cocoons in the purple water room to reveal zombies. One will drop a part. 2. Swim in the underwater tunnels until you find the part. 3. Destroy the webs in the power room to turn on the power. Kill zombies underwater until the part comes from the vent. Place all three parts in the three locations and the door will open.
