  1. Join or start a meeting.
  2. During the meeting, click Chat.
  3. At the bottom of the chat window, click the ellipses. Then click "Save Chat". This will save your chat to your local recording location. The default is your Documents folder / Zoom / Folder with the meeting name, date, and time.

How do you make someone a host or co-host? There are two ways. 



The co-host feature allows the host to share hosting privileges with another user, allowing the co-host to manage the administrative side of the meeting, such as managing participants or starting/stopping the recording. The host is the only user who can assign a co-host. 

There are two ways that you can make a user a co-host.

During a meeting:

  1. Hover over a user's video.
  2. Click the ellipsis icon  .
  3. Click Make Co-Host.

Using the participants window:

  1. Click Participants  in the meeting controls at the bottom of the Zoom window.
  2. Hover over the name of the participant who is going to be a co-host, and choose More.
  3. Click Make Co-Host.

How do I run an attendance report on Zoom? 

  1. Sign in to the Zoom web portal.
  2. In the navigation menu, do one of the following:
    • If you are an account owner, admin, or have a role with access to Usage Reports, click Account Management then Reports.
    • If you are an account member that wants to access reports part of the Zoom Phone Power Pack, click Analytics & Reports.
  3. Click the type of report that you would like to pull. You can also click the User Activity Reports tab to view additional types of reports (only accessible to the account owner by default).
