Shirley sang with her sisters – The Chase Sisters. They started singing in Church and began singing for groups around Ithaca. Sang at the State Theater and on the Jack Deal show on the radio. They performed on television in Rochester and Binghamton. When she was in college Shirley was part of a group that performed for troops with USO.
