Why did Paul instruct the women of Corinth to remain silent in the church?

(I want a break down of context.)

Women of that time were uneducated and became disruptive with their chattering in the church. As a result of their being uneducated, they were not properly suited to make decisions or provide valuable input regarding church decisions. They were instructed to bring their requests/concerns to their husbands first as a means of being able to allow church leaders to work without interruption and prevent idle conversations from erupting. (I’ll yap more about this irl I am done typing this essay)

What are first fruits?

(In terms of back then and now)

First fruits were the first of every harvest given as an offering to God in hopes for a bountiful return. In modern time, it can be perceived as giving God the first of what we receive on earth as an offering to him in submission to His will that we might reap the benefits of following his direction as opposed to our own. Example of this would be tithing.

Throughout this book there were disputes about two specific types of spiritual gifts. What are they? What did Paul have to say about them? Why are they different? Which one is “better”? For what purpose do each of these gifts serve the church?

(Gimme the run down.)

Tongues and Prophecy. Prophecy being the preferred spiritual gift because it edifies the entire church while tongues only edifies the gifted believer. That is not to say tongues is bad; however in regard to the church, prophecy is more valuable as it benefits everyone.
