Frodo: 42 / (15 - 2³) = 42 / (15 - 2 x 3) = 42 / (15 - 6) = 42 / 9 = 4 and 6/9

Sam: 42 / (15 - 2 x 2 x 2) = 42 / (15 - 8) = 42 / 7 = 6

Sam is correct! An exponent is the big number times itself, not the big number times the little number.
