The only McMenamins on Mississippi Ave (... well technically Russell Ave.) and kiddy corner from Widmer, this saloon and hotel exists in one of the oldest bars in portland. Legend has it that within its fabled walls a prostitute was murdered by a jealous lover, drunken men were shangheid into service through underground tunnels, and that in the 70s and 80s, more tequila was sold from this location than anywhere else in the state.
McMenamins White Eagle Saloon (& Rock and Roll Hotel)
